Finally a white T-shirt or any other colour (preferably cotton) can be used to create your prints.
Starting and Completing the Process:
• To begin draw your design using the chosen editor. This may take some time and is usually the longest part of the process. While creating your design be careful to choose colours that will stand out on your T-shirt especially if you are not using the basic white commonly worn. You will need to take into consideration that the graphic must not merely look good on your computer but also visible and near spectacular on the soon to be printed T-shirt. Thus if you are using text choose bold colours that are set to full opacity in the text selection area. If you are using a photo simply choose a photograph that is vivid enough to be seen on the T-shirt. Edit the photo to adjust contrast and brightness among other things that will improve the picture's visibility on the T-shirt.
• Create a mirror image of the design or photo. This can be done using any of the graphic programs listed above.
• Print the modified mirror image on the heat transfer paper. Allow to dry before you touch it as this may cause it to smudge.
• Place the paper carefully on the area of the T-shirt you have designated for the image or design. This may be on the front or back.
• Iron the heat transfer paper running the iron all over it to ensure even transfer.
• Slowly peel away the paper and inspect your design.
• That's it you're done.
